An Australian judge questioned why Dialogue Consulting declined an offer by Meta Platforms that would give its social-media scheduling service Sked Social access to an Instagram application programming interface that Dialogue accepts would allow its business to operate. As a three-week antitrust trial continued in the Federal Court on Wednesday, Dialogue’s lawyer James Arnott responded to Meta’s “open offer” from the previous day, saying the difficulty with accepting API access remained uncertainty about its future.
