KIWI Finance, the largest credit brokerage company in Romania, announces its partnership with FlowX.AI, which involves implementing AI agents for KIWI Finance brokers. KIWI Finance is backing its broker partners and simplifying their work by automating tasks and processes, enabling them to cover larger volumes and focus on the client relationship. With this first step in a series of developments, the company’s 400 brokers across the country will work with AI agents that turn hours of searching through documentation into seconds, simplifying decisions for both banks and clients.
Together with FlowX.AI, the company is putting a strategic direction into practice, and the first stage involves launching two solutions with multiple capabilities that halve the learning and induction time for new brokers and bring accuracy to client pre-qualification with partner banks.
The project underway—an absolute first for the banking industry—involves developing an integrated digital ecosystem through the collaboration of a credit broker, a technology company and a banking partner. It is built on the concepts of a “shared ecosystem” and a “single source of truth,” functioning as one platform that covers the entire mortgage lending process, from prospect and offer through to closing the transaction.
“Through this partnership we are bringing together two worlds that until now operated in parallel systems. FlowX.AI gives us technological agility and the banking partner an openness to innovation, all to the direct benefit of the end client,” says Anca Bidian, CEO and founder of KIWI Finance.
“The role of a credit broker is to guide the client through the maze — sometimes the jungle — of a mortgage loan. Buying a home is one of the most stressful and emotionally charged financial decisions in a person’s life, so a credit broker must be, above all, ethical, responsible, objective and permanently prepared. Anyone can compare two or more loans, but not everyone can help a client decide what is best for them, and when. The volume of information gathered from every bank in the market — variables, parameters, formulas and the dependencies between them — is enormous, and with the two solutions implemented with FlowX.AI we now have all of it compiled in a matter of seconds. That has substantially shortened both the onboarding time for new colleagues and the rollout of new products, campaigns and the relatively frequent parameter changes the banks make, which gives KIWI Finance a major competitive and performance advantage right now,” explains Anca Bidian.
“A good broker is not short of expertise; they are short of time. They spend hours searching through dozens of banks and ever-changing procedures instead of being there for the client. KIWI Finance has changed that: the same information, compiled correctly, in seconds. The time gained goes back exactly where it counts — to the client sitting across from the broker,” adds Ioan Iacob, CEO and co-founder of FlowX.AI.
“FlowX.AI’s technology was built to unify complex systems and deliver seamless digital experiences. Together with KIWI Finance and the banking partner, we are creating a modern infrastructure that removes the friction between broker and bank, setting a new standard for speed in the industry,” adds Ioan Iacob, CEO and co-founder of FlowX.AI.
Through the first solution built with FlowX.AI, the Conversational Agent, brokers get an induction and training experience that is twice as fast and far simpler. With this modern onboarding tool, KIWI Finance prepares new brokers to serve clients in weeks rather than months, as all the necessary information is instantly available. The solution can give brokers accurate, context-aware answers, significantly reduce time spent searching through documentation, ensure consistent answers regardless of a broker’s experience, and scale the support provided. To build it, all the necessary documents were centralized — from legal procedures and approval flows to lending products and credit policies — for a high level of accuracy and zero hallucinations.
The second solution, the Eligibility Module, offers a clear advantage: it allows brokers to give clients the time and attention needed to understand their needs in depth and to present an offer as quickly as possible. Clients, in turn, get answers twice as fast when making their decision. The solution supports precise, specific client qualification by running a wide range of data in a closed agentic environment: client profile, income type, employment history, current financial situation, collateral type, and so on. This approach amplifies the role of a classic banking decision engine, generating offers across all partner banks while considering not only interest rates but also clients’ profiles, incomes and risk parameters.
For this solution, FlowX.AI developed a distributed agent architecture in which agents communicate with one another and carry out different functions, analyzing the multitude of data and evaluating the results. An orchestrator agent receives a client file, interprets the request, transforms and prepares the data, and distributes it to a suite of agents with distinct roles — from finding the best solution for the loan applicants to identifying the banks where they are eligible, the best products, the maximum amount, the product score and the final rationale for the broker.
KIWI Finance joins the financial institutions running FlowX.AI in production, among them State Street, Banca Transilvania, OTP Group and UniCredit. FlowX.FlowX.AI is an Enterprise AI platform used by banks, insurance companies and financial institutions across Central Europe and the U.S. to build modern onboarding, lending, wealth management and compliance solutions for retail, corporate, and investment banking clients. The agents assist in planning and execution, suggesting improvements while decision-making control stays with people.
