Police chase in Saratoga County leads to more than 500 pounds of cannabis

State Police say a wild ride led to more than 500 pounds of cannabis.
Troopers tried to stop Torrey Jackson, 39, of Massena, on the Northway in Queensbury around 3:25 Thursday afternoon.
They say Jackson left the highway and led them on a chase through fields and neighborhood yards.
He then got back on the Northway, traveling the wrong way before turning around. State Police say a patrol car was hit.

State Police say a passenger, Tori Rushlow, 29, of Massena, threw out several garbage bags containing vacuum-sealed cannabis.
The vehicle eventually stopped in a Northway median. Jackson and Rushlow were arrested after trying to run off and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
State Police say they found more cannabis in the vehicle.
Two State Police members have non-life-threatening injuries. Two vehicles were damaged.
