Wind turbine orders in the US reached 2.8 GW in the second quarter of 2026, the highest level since the fourth quarter of 2023, as developers placed orders to meet the start of construction deadline of July 4, according to Wood Mackenzie’s US Wind Energy Monitor Q3 report.
